23 anglers faced some difficult weather conditions at the inaugural heat of the Scottish National Stillwater Bank Competition, which took place at Wormit Fishery on February 20.
Fished to FIPS-Mouche rules, over a full day, anglers rotate through a series of pegs every half hour. Lee Anderson took first place with 11 fish (19 points), with Ian Scott’s eight fish earning 13 points, and Scott Mudie in third place with seven fish and 12 points.
The next heat is at Drumtassie Fishery on March 5.
