FF&FT magazine will have a stand at the fishing megastore in Glasgow as the new season gets underway
FF&FT’s Allan Liddle will be demonstrating in the fly tying area during the weekend.
Fly Fishing and Fly Tying will be at the Glasgow Angling Centre Spring 2023 Open Weekend, held over March 10, 11 & 12.
To help your season kick off in style, the magazine will be appearing along with some of the country’s best-known anglers and brands, including Scottish TV personality Paul Young, at the Glasgow fishing megastore.
FF&FT’s Allan Liddle will be amongst those demonstrating in the fly tying section, and there will also be lure-tank trials, casting demonstrations and competitions, free casting tuition, an RNLI boat safety clinic and Cookshill Fly Tying will also have a stand.
Other prominent fly-fishing guests attending include: Andy Murray, Darryl Mooney, Duncan Egan, Hywel Morgan, Ian McCormack, Jim Fearn, Paul Clydesdale, Paul Little, Phil Varney, Rachael Brady, Steve Copper, Steve Cullen and Steve Peterson, representing a plethora of brands including Veniard, Partridge, Cortland, Daiwa, Minn Kota, Rio, Wychwood, Guideline, Vision, and many more. All will be on hand in the store for you to ask questions and to provide help with your fishing.
It all starts on Friday, March 10, and takes place at Unit 1, The Point Retail Park, 29 Saracen Street, Glasgow G22 5HT.
