Anglian boats back on after lockdown

Anglian Water will resume boat fishing on Rutland Water and Grafham when lock-down restrictions ease from December 2.

With two months of the season still to go, water temperatures still relatrively high, and mild weather lingering, the water company was "delighted to resume boat fishing".

Covid-19 safety precautions will still apply, and all boats must be booked and paid in advance.

Prospects on the waters look good with all the waters fishing superbly from the banks. Last week, plenty of 3-pound fish were taken close in to the bank at Rutland, with rainbows ranging up to 7lb.

To book a boat call the relevant lodge between 8am and 2pm, 7 days a week.
