Hi all

After moving to Gosport I’ve been a keen mullet/bass angler (using coarse fishing tactics in the local creeks etc). Since last year I’ve become an avid fan of trying to fly fish for them instead - talk about making things difficult!. I really enjoy Colin MacLeod’s column finding it very informative and interesting. Not being a fly tier, I was wondering if anyone could suggest if there is anywhere online or locally where I could purchase some of the Corophium or Mud Shrimp patterns.

Many Thanks
Lee

Hi Colin

Many thanks for your speedy response. I’ve sent a PM with my address - hopefully as I’m not that clued up on this sort of thing!

Thanks again

Hi Colin

I’ve already sent you a PM but not sure it got to you. This is just to say
I’ve received the flies and many thanks. And you are correct in regards to the venue I mainly fish.

Thanks again

Been looking for the smallies but all that are here are too many mud shad and some real nice crappie and an occasional walleye. “Craig” ... Talk about a Lake Pattern Change! ... I like shrimp and King Crab (but those are Ocean Critters).
