I have a 7’6” 3/4#, light river rod but I want to buy a new rod for small streams and brooks ( casting 10-15 feet)ideally I would like to buy a 7’ rod and a spare 2 nd section for the rod and put a butt on that too,making it a 5’(ish)2/3 ,can this be done successfully and will it affect the action ,also what other problems might I Encounter
