Normally for Salmon Irons I would use a Double or Improved Turle Knot. However I have recently started tying fully dressed flies on Blind-eye irons. The thought just struck me….What knot to use when tying the hook braid loop eye to the tippet? All advice welcome, thanks chaps.

Further to my inquiries on a suitable knot for Salmon Blind-eye braid loop to tipped, I had a reply from the USA; on the other side of the pond they use a - Perfection Loop. Make it large enough to go through the braid loop and over the whole fly, tying ‘loop to loop’.
