Fly Fishing and Fly Tying will be hosting a Fly Fishing Mall at the Scottish Game Fair at Scone in early July
Allan Liddle will be demonstrating at the show over all three days.
FF&FT is hosting a special marquee at the GWCT Scottish Game Fair this year. The FF&FT Fly Fishing Mall will feature a collection of fly tyers demonstrating techniques and a selection of fly-fishing stand-holders.
At present, the fly tyers listed are: Allan Liddle, Melvyn Wood, Paul Black, Dave Feltz, Ian Drummond, Graham Forbes, Anthony Ritchie, Cuillin Rae, Graham Keir, Archie Ferguson, Conan Fyvie and Ed Ford. They will be demonstrating and providing guidance on all manner of flies and dispensing fishing advice from trout and salmon patterns to pike and carp flies.
In addition, the commercial stands that have committed to attend so far are: Coch-Bonddu Books; Macintyre & Thomson; Country Sports Scotland; Bloke Rods; Chevron Hackles; Scottie Products; Go Fishing Worldwide, and of course Fly Fishing & Fly Tying will have a stand, too.
The fair will feature the full range of country pursuits, along with a mass of exhibitors and competitions, food halls and bars. It is designed to be a full day out for families who love country sports and feature demonstrations on topics as diverse as foraging to sourdough.
