Scottish Game Fair demonstrations, competitions and talks announced

Preparations are well under way for the Scottish Game Fair, which opens at Scone, near Perth, in a week’s time. With the accent placed on fishing this year, the whole fishing area has been re-modelled.

The fishing area will house all the stalls as usual, but this year includes the FF&FT Fly Fishing Mall, which features over a dozen fly-fishing specialists, along with a number of other fishing stands, including a Conservation Marquee hosted by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust, Atlantic Salmon Trust and Tay District Salmon Fishery Board.

In addition a number of demonstrations, tuition events, a range of competitions, and a full range of talks at the angler’s Bothy have been scheduled.

Casting tuition on the river from GAIA instructors with Daiwa gear and an offer for the variety of kit used. Ladies and gents instruction on all three days.
