Cul de canard expert, fly-tying tool-maker and equipment manufacturer, Marc Petitjean is to demonstrate at the British Fly Fair International in February 2017.
Marc, from Switzerland, who is famed for popularising CdC techniques over the past two decades is also an innovative tackle and tool designer (see photo). He has, in the past, designed a sophisticated waistcoast, high-tech vices and has also produced a range of heads to fit on flies to make them more mobile in the water. At the BFFI he will be demonstrating the tying techniques which can be accomplished with his Magic Tool - a series of clip and fold devices for dubbing and hackling. Marc will join a throng of other demonstrators, including Stuart Crofts who will be giving a talk on fly fishing entomology, and Hans Weilenmann, the fly dresser from the Netherlands.
The Fair will take place over the weekend of February 11 & 12, 2017 at the Staffordshire Showground, ST18 0BD, minutes from the M6. Advance tickets are now available at discounted prices: http://flyfishing-and-flytying.co.uk/reader_offers/
